One of my favorite conversations to have with people when it comes to websites is when I’m asked why my websites don’t look as fancy as some others on the web. There are many factors that go into building a website. My main goal is to build websites that attract attention and convert to customers. I think it is important to respect the time of your customers when visiting your website. This means delivering what they came to see or learn and not showing them how you can make things fly accross their screen. When visitors come to one of my sites, they get what they came for without sitting through un-necessary flash presentations. Don’t get me wrong, I like nice looking sites and flash has it’s place within every marketing strategy. It is just more important in some circumstances than others. Bottom line, are you presenting what your visitor came to see or learn?
